ISLES of CAPRI WATER SYSTEM

This blog will follow daily the progress of the installation of our new water pipes. The company will be working 4-10 hour days with friday open for surveying and cleaning up on the previous weeks work. The company and the county request that all people that are watching the progress to maintain a safe distance from working personal and equiptment. This blog hopefully will show you the progress daily in order to keep you as informed as possible.

A.R.V. - FIRE HYDRANTS

FELIPE'S CREW IS INSTALLING A SADDLE TAP TO MOUNT AN AUTOMATIC AIR RELEASE VALVE..

THE AUTOMATIC AIR RELEASE VALVE (ARV) ARE INSTALLED AT HIGH POINTS, LOCATED BY THE ENGINEER, TO ALLOW AIR THAT MIGHT BUILD UP TO BE AUTOMATICALLY RELEASED..

THE SURVEY TEAM WITH "CHARLES TOLTON" IS MARKING THE VALVES, FITTINGS AND NEW WATER PIPE TO CREATE A 3-D BLUE PRINT..

FELIPE'S CREW IS MAKING A FIRE HYDRANT TAP..

THEY ARE EXPOSING THE PREVIOUSLY INSTALLED 6" ISOLATION VALVE..

AND BOLTING THE APPARATUS INTO PLACE.

THIS MIXTURE OF WORK AND PLEASURE SHOWS HOW LITTLE THE IMPACT APPEARS TO BE, TO THE PEOPLE OF THE ISLAND,  DURING THIS CONSTRUCTION.
