ISLES of CAPRI WATER SYSTEM

This blog will follow daily the progress of the installation of our new water pipes. The company will be working 4-10 hour days with friday open for surveying and cleaning up on the previous weeks work. The company and the county request that all people that are watching the progress to maintain a safe distance from working personal and equiptment. This blog hopefully will show you the progress daily in order to keep you as informed as possible.

ASPHALT INSTALLATION

THE CREW CUT OUT A DRIVEWAY ON ANTIGUA ST TO PREPARE IT FOR NEW ASPHALT..

ALSO, SAN JUAN AVE HAD A CUT THAT WAS PREPARED FOR NEW ASPHALT..

THE ASPHALT COMES DIRECTLY FROM THE PLANT BECAUSE THE ASPHALT HAS TO BE AT A CERTAIN TEMPERATURE IN ORDER TO BE ROLLED PROPERLY.

THE ASPHALT IS LAID TO A DEPTH OF ABOUT 3 INCHES..

AFTER BEING SPREAD, IT IS RAKED TO BE LEVEL AND SMOOTH..

THE TOOLS ARE DIPPED AND KEPT WET  TO KEEP THEM FROM STICKING TO THE ASPHALT..

WHEN ALL IS READY, THE ROLLER , WITH WET ROLLERS, COMPACTS THE ASPHALT.
