NEW GRASS - ASPHALT

DN HIGGINS CONTINUES TO WATER THE NEW GRASS, FROM THE WATER PUMP STATION...

TO THE FIRE STATION..

ON SAN JUAN AVE, BETTER ROADS STARTS PAVING THE SIDE STREETS.
FIRST THE PRIMER IS SPRAYED ON THE OLD ASPHALT..

THEN THE TRUCK LOADS THE PAVING MACHINE..

THE PAVING MACHINE BACKS INTO PLACE..

AND STARTS LAYING THE NEW ASPHALT..

THE ASPHALT IS RAKED AND THE EXCESS IS SPREAD..

THE SPREADING CONTINUES AS THE PAVER IS RELOADED AND THE CULDESAC IS COMPLETED..

THE LAYING AND SPREADING HAS TO BE QUICK TO KEEP THE ASPHALT AT 300*

THEN THE WATER IS TURNED ON TO THE STEEL ROLLERS..

AND THE ROLLING BEGINS..

FOLLOWED AND FINISHED OFF BY THE RUBBER ROLLER..

WHEN THE CULDESAC IS COMPLETED THE PAVER IS RELOADED AND THE SIDES OF THE PAVER ARE EXPANDED OUT TO COVER THE ENTIRE WIDTH OF THE STREET..

AND THE MACHINE, PUSHING THE TRUCK, MAKES ONE SWEEP TO PAVE THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF SAN JUAN, SAMAR AND PANAY AVE'S
