ISLES of CAPRI WATER SYSTEM

This blog will follow daily the progress of the installation of our new water pipes. The company will be working 4-10 hour days with friday open for surveying and cleaning up on the previous weeks work. The company and the county request that all people that are watching the progress to maintain a safe distance from working personal and equiptment. This blog hopefully will show you the progress daily in order to keep you as informed as possible.

NEW GRASS - ASPHALT

THE CREW OF DN HIGGINS USED A ROLLER TO ROLL ALL OF THE NEW GRASS..

WHILE WAITING FOR THE TEMPERATURE TO RISE ABOVE 45*,
THE ASPHALT CREW DRESSED UP AREAS ON PANAY AVE.

THEY USED A COMBINATION OF HEAT AND ROLLING TO COMPLETE THE TASK..

THE HIGH EDGES WERE CUT DOWN BY HEATING AND SCRAPING THE ASPHALT..

THEN THE ROLLER WAS USED..

A LARGE AREA IN THE CENTER WAS CUT OUT AND RE ASPHALTED..

WHEN THE AIR WAS WARMER, THE CREW STARTED ON ANTIGUA ST.

THEN MOVED TO CRISTOBAL ST. AND LAID THE PRIMER..

THEN PAVED THE STREET..

THEN MOVED TO KON TIKI DR..

AT ONE POINT A LARGE DOG CHARGED ACROSS THE STREET..

LEFT A DUMP AND WENT HOME..

THE CREW THEN MOVED TO SAMAR LANE AND BEGAN PAVING..

FOLLOWED BY THE ROLLER..
