ISLES of CAPRI WATER SYSTEM

This blog will follow daily the progress of the installation of our new water pipes. The company will be working 4-10 hour days with friday open for surveying and cleaning up on the previous weeks work. The company and the county request that all people that are watching the progress to maintain a safe distance from working personal and equiptment. This blog hopefully will show you the progress daily in order to keep you as informed as possible.

NEW WATER METERS

THE DIGGING CREW STARTS WORKING ON GRANADA AVE, INSTALLING THE NEW WATER METERS, AND CONNECTING THE NEW WATER TO THE RESIDENCES.
"DAN", WITH THE WATER DEPARTMENT, ASSEMBLES THE 3/4" AND 1" WATER METERS TO GIVE TO THE DIGGING CREW TO INSTALL..

BECAUSE OF A LARGE THUNDERSTORM, THE DIGGING CREW IS WORKING IN A LOT OF WATER..

WHEN FINISHED, THEY CLEAN UP THE AREA, AND HAVE MOVED ON TO LUZON AVE..

THE TEMPORARY WATER PIPE ACROSS THE BRIDGE( AT THE FIRE HOUSE) IS PRESSURE TESTED AT 150# FOR TWO HOURS..

THE END OF THE PIPE IS LIFTED TO INSURE THAT MOST OF THE AIR IS REMOVED DURING THE TEST. THIS PIPE WILL BE IN USE FOR ABOUT A MONTH WHILE THE NEW WATER PIPE IS INSTALLED ACROSS THE BRIDGE.

today's construction meeting was held at the church, it will return to the firehouse next week..
